The 23900 is similar in design to the 700DB series double beam holding fixtures, except much larger. The unit is designed for a working load of 4000# with a swing radius of 100". It will easily rotate a load with a torque of up to 10,000 in-lbs. (caused by an off center CG). It has mechanically synchronized vertical risers, which can be hand cranked, up or down at full load. The end frames utilize four casters so that each end frame can be maneuvered independently when the unit is disassembled. This reduces the need for special handling equipment and reduces storage floor space between jobs. It also incorporates leveling jacks, lock rods and an index plate. |
